Well, 24 finally did it.  They jumped the shark completely. It's been pretty obvious from the start of the show that the entire premise was set up was a not so subtle embrace and PR move for torture of terrorism suspects. First off, it's on Fox - Clue number 1.  Secondly, there is always ALWAYS a "Ticking time bomb" scenario that can only be solved if Jack Bauer tortures the suspects.  Normal Terrorism techniques are ALWAYS shown to fail - even though these techniques were used to find Hussein and many other suspects, terrorists, etc.

Well the Seventh Season doesn't even try to be believable.   They play up the time bomb scenario more and more, and the entire premise revolves around over 100 individuals in the government that are suddenly Terrorists for money.  Paid off by some small African country embroiled in a civil war.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!   Did the 24 writers take on Dick Cheney to write their scripts or what?

The show can be exciting to watch at times just for the action aspect of things, and removing their political bullshit, but other then that, the writers are the worst in the industry.   And Fox takes another step down (if that's even possible)  for running this filth.

Oooh more information..   Don't believe the African country part, well then it must be the Evil "Blackwater" Corporation that's funding it all.   And somehow found hundreds if not thousands of Americans willing to kill millions of people to work for them.
